What Makes a Helpful Review?
Focus on Your Personal Experience
Your review should be about the product itself. Tell us what you liked or disliked. Was the '1000 Wala' loud and long-lasting? Did the 'Flower Pots' have vibrant colours? Was the 'Rocket' flight impressive? Your personal experience is what matters most.
Be Clear and Respectful
Use polite language and avoid slang, profanity, or offensive comments. Constructive feedback helps both customers and sellers.
Keep It Relevant
Talk about the product, delivery, or service experience.
Prohibited Content
We reserve the right to remove reviews that contain any of the following:
Fake or Misleading Reviews
- Do not post reviews for products you haven’t used.
- Avoid posting the same content across multiple products or from different accounts.
- Never manipulate ratings to benefit or harm a seller.
Personal or Promotional Content
Do not include:
- Links to external websites
- Pricing, deals, or promotional offers for restricted or third-party products
Restricted or Illegal Topics
Reviews must not contain:
- Content promoting or linking to alcohol, drugs, tobacco, weapons, or gambling
- Explicit or sexually suggestive content
- Content related to or supporting terrorism, abuse, trafficking, or any illegal activity
- Dangerous stunts or misuse of fireworks
- Unverified claims about product safety or hazards (report such issues to our support team)
Product Safety Concerns
Your safety is our priority. If you believe a product is unsafe or non-compliant with cracker regulations, do not include that in a review. Instead, contact us directly so we can investigate immediately.
Language & Tone
- Write reviews in English or Tamil or any Indian Language — the languages most understood by our audience.
- Avoid political commentary, off-topic rants, or content unrelated to the product.
Derogatory or Harmful Content
Crackers1 is a place for celebrating, not for spreading hate. We do not permit reviews that contain dangerous or derogatory content, including content that:
- Threatens or advocates for harm to oneself or others.
- Harasses, intimidates, or bullies an individual or group.
- Incites hatred or promotes discrimination based on race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, sexual orientation, gender, or any other characteristic associated with systemic discrimination.
Conflict of Interest
Reviews are most valuable when they are honest and unbiased.
- You cannot review your own business’s products.
- Do not post content about a current or former employment experience with a manufacturer or seller listed on our site.
- Do not post reviews for a competitor’s product with the intent to manipulate their ratings.
- If you received a product for free from a manufacturer or seller in exchange for a review, you must clearly disclose this in your review.
All reviews on Crackers1 are moderated using a combination of automated and manual checks. We reserve the right to remove any review that violates these guidelines or that we believe doesn’t reflect a genuine product experience.
